AAA Well Drilling, Inc. is a third generation drilling company that began in 1969, by Ed Swearingen.
Ed and his wife Louise have four sons, three of which are currently involved in the business-- Mike, Joey, and Jay. These boys grew up with a love for drilling and have passed it down to their children. Mike has five children, 4 of which are active in the company - Michael, Alex, Kyle and Jill. Joey has two sons - his oldest Trey helps out on occasion. Jay has two girls - Katie his oldest daughter helps in the office part time. The fourth generation is not far behind with the oldest age 9 and the youngest 5 months. It is truly a family business! You may see wives and children helping on the jobs at anytime! Everybody pitches in when needed!
Our company operates five drill rigs, four boom trucks, and three service trucks. We have approximately 23 full-time and six part-time employees. We are privileged to have the opportunity to work with several high school and college students on the weekends and during the summer.
All of our drillers are licensed with the state of South Carolina and bonded. We also hold a license with the state of Georgia and bonded with them as well. We are members of the NGWA and the SCGWA. It is important to all of us to provide an excellent quality of service-- giving to you-- what we would want ourselves.Well drilling for us is not just a job-- -but our way of life!
